Thank you to those of you who attended our Virtual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Youth Celebration in January. It was a wonderful day with a resounding message of light, hope and love, in spite of the numerous technical difficulties encountered. It is for this reason that the Moore County NAACP are presenting "MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY: REVISITED!"
For those of you that were with us in January, we hope that you can join us again to view the program in its entirety as it was originally intended to air. For those of you that were unable to attend the original program, HERE'S YOUR CHANCE!!!
This year's keynote speaker was 12-year-old phenom Minister Elijah Lee, who blew away a crowd of tens of thousands at last February's HKonJ [ https://abc11.com/elijah-lee-moral-march-raleigh.../5913890/ ]. The message delivered by Minister Lee definitely merits another listen. We will share the winning pieces from our Youth art contest. Many of our youth, young adults, young at heart adults, local clergy and spiritual groups will be featured participants as well.
