Join the Moore County NAACP and coalition partners from Sandhills Pride, Indivisible of Moore County, and Moore County Democratic Women as we rally to support the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment in North Carolina. The rally will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Purcell Funeral Home, 953 W Pennsylvania Avenue in Southern Pines. Speakers will include Moore County NAACP President and NC NAACP Women in the NAACP (WIN) Chairperson, O'Linda Watkins McSurely, Tina Ganis from Democratic Women Of Moore County, Attorney Julia Latham, and Robyn Lam from Indivisible of Moore County. Following the rally, there will be a procession from Purcells Funeral Home to the office of NC District 52 Representative Jamie Boles where the speakers from the rally will deliver a petition in support of the ERA and speak to the representative if he's available.
